CASAC Inc. is a New South Wales peak body for community based services providing Child sexual assault counselling and support services to children, young people and adults, and their non-offending family members. Our primary aim is to provide counselling and support services to children and adolescents who have experienced sexual assault and also to their non-offending family or carers. Adult survivors of child sexual assault may receive counselling from some services.
We are located within the community to promote easy access for children, adolescents and adults who need sexual assault counselling. Who are we? CASAC Inc currently has 16 organisational members throughout NSW. As a peak body the Association is guided by a set of

(PDF) Each member service receives core funding from the NSW Department of Community Services (DoCS) through the Community Services Grants Programs (CSGP). Services are managed by community management committees – i.e. Independent of DoCS. What do we do? Member services aim to provide a range of counselling and support services to children, young people and adults who have experienced sexual assault and their non-offending family or carers. CASAC Inc member services do not work with people who sexually abuse children.CASAC Inc member services generally provide: T Counselling and therapy T Information and support T Groups T Court preparation and support for witnesses T Advocacy, information and referral Services vary in what services they provide and who they target (e.g. some focus on supporting children, others adults), so contact your local CASAC Inc member service to discuss your particular needs. CASAC Inc member services are located throughout NSW and are based within the community to promote easy access for those who require child sexual assault counselling. Unfortunately, CASAC Inc member services do not operate in every part of NSW. If you can’t find a service in your area, an alternative option is to contact your local Sexual Assault Service.
