About CASAC Inc
CASAC Inc. is a New South Wales peak body for community based services providing Child Sexual Assault counselling and support services to children, young people and adults, and their non-offending family members.
Our primary aim is to provide counselling and support services to children and adolescents who have experienced sexual assault and also to their non-offending family or carers. Adult survivors of child sexual assault may receive counselling from some services.
We are located within the community to promote easy access for children, adolescents and adults who need sexual assault counselling.

Who Are We
CASAC Inc currently has 16 organisational members throughout NSW. As a peak body the Association is guided by a set of Objects and Policies and Procedures.
Each member service receives core funding from the NSW Family and Community Services (FaCS) through the Community Services Grants Programs (CSGP). Services are managed by community management committees – i.e. Independent of DoCS.
Each CASAC member is professionally trained to work with children and adolescents specifically in the area of childhood sexual assault. CASAC is a network of counsellors and/or community developers: this means each receives peer support, professional and ethical guidelines, networking and training opportunities and other means of support that enhance quality service provision.
